Five Stakes win for Regarde Moi
Regarde Moi, a six-year-old son of King's Best, has won a Stakes race in each of the past three years and he extended that to a fourth year on 13 April when landing the Listed Premio Natale di Roma, run over a mile at Rome’s Capannelle racecourse.
Winning by a length and a half from Saint Bernard, Regarde Moi was recording his fifth win at Stakes level. Last year he took the G3 Premio Chiusura, run over 1400m in Milan and has won three Listed contests previously in Rome.
He was bred by Soc. Finanza Locale Consulting S and is out of the winning Night Shift mare Life At Night, a half-sister to multiple Group winner and G1 performer Missed Flight.
King’s Best, who stands at Darley in Japan at a fee of 2.5 million yen, is sire of eight individual G1 winners and this year he is also sire of G3 winner Clara Baby.
