Australian-bred Xaar five-year-old Answers Are gained her first black-type success on Saturday with victory in the Jungle Mint Classic over 1200m at Ascot in Western Australia.
Bred by Oakland Park Stud from the Serheed mare Jevanswer, the mare was recording her fifth career win and has been in fine form of late, with four victories and two placings for her last six starts.
Answers Are becomes the 30th stakes winner for Xaar, whose best runners include the Hong Kong-based G1 winner Xtension, Balthazaar’s Gift, Acey Ducey, No Questions and German 2,000 Guineas winner Royal Power.
