Darley Japan stallion Fantastic Light sired an impressive Allowance winner on Saturday April 9, when his son Taisei Phantom won the 1400m dirt contest by two-and-a-half lengths, in the process recording his second career victory after a series of creditable efforts in Stakes races this season and last.
Bred by Bandam Bokujo, he is the second winner out of the Boundary mare Taiki Charade, herself a half-sister to three Stakes winners; Taiki Fortune, Taiki Dia and Taiki Lion.
Fantastic Light, whose first Japanese crop turned three this season, stands for 1.5 million yen and has sired eight G1 horses including top-flight winners Mission Critical and Scintillo.
