Bred by Darley Japan, Fine Needle is a son of the G3-winning Mark Of Esteem mare Needlecraft, who won Group races in both France and Italy.
As well as Fine Needle, Admire Moon has also sired in 2018 G2 Spring Cup winner Moonquake, G3-winning colts Black Moon and Seiun Kosei and Stakes winner Once In A Moon.
