Seattle Ice overcame a wide draw to land the G2 Emperor’s Palace Charity Mile at Turffontein by two-and-a-half lengths at Turffontein on 7 November.
Bred in Australia by E Thoroughbred Pty Ltd, the four-year-old son of Xaar is out of the Seattle Dancer mare Seattle Rhyme and is a half-brother to the Listed winner and Grade One-placed Profit Report, by Noverre.
Xaar has also been represented in the UK this year by the highly promising Xtension, winner of the G2 Vintage Stakes at Glorious Goodwood and subsequently third in the G1 Dewhurst Stakes at Newmarket.
